Hi Dr Freeman,
I would like to ask you if there is any chance for me to recover.
6 months ago after my husband told me that he's gonna divorce, I decided to smoke marijuana. It was the second time in my life. After this experience the dp/dr installed 24/7 along with high anxiety and panic attacks. I decided then to take benzodiazepines which in the long run made my condition worse. It's been  weeks now while I'm off medication but my depersonalization is really really bad.I think I made stupid mistake taking pills. Can this improve or I have changed brain chemestry with those pills forever?
I just want to ask you is there any chance for me to recover? I've been struggling with this along with a chronic yeast infection for which I have a strict diet: no sugar, no yeast, no coffe, no alchool, no wheat, etc. I 'm so deperate as I'm alone and I need to function again .

Thank you so much!

It is not only possible but you will. I am 100% recovered and this program made me a stronger person all around. Don't even hesitate because this is the program that turned my whole life around. I think in a better way that stops me from going round in circles with dp. It's like I broke right through it and have a shield against it coming back.

Dr. Freedman is like the only person who knew from the beginning how to get me over this. I've spent so much effort for years but only got better when I did the program. It has everything to recover and more. You become stronger about everything in your life.

Anyone who thinks they can't get over this is mistaken. This has changed me back from a fearful victim of dp to a confident and happy guy.

Dear Raluca,

The only thing standing between you and recovery is merely taking the first step.

You are not ill and you are not "damaged" either emotionally or physically.

You are experiencing these symptoms as the result of habit. You have been thinking in an unproductive manner which is causing your body to release adrenaline and other stress hormones, resulting in intrusive reactions.

Once you begin thinking differently (retrain the brain) and support this method by changing your dietary choices (as explained in our nutrition plan/menu), you will begin to notice a significant improvement within 24 hours. Within 2 weeks, after closely following our program techniques, you will have recovered from these sensations.

Remember, you are not ill. This is a learned behavior, and although intrusive, it is not difficult to overcome. With the correct approach, anyone is able to recover from feelings of depersonalization/derealization.

Best wishes,

Dr. Ronnie Freedman
